Hellraid Set To Condemn Your PS3 and 360 Later This Year
Dead Island and Call of Juarez developer Techland is set to release a cooperative, medieval, first-person hack and slash RPG for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 later this year. Formerly known as Project Hell, Hellraid will two games in one: a single-player, story-driven campaign and a “unique”, co-operative multiplayer that pits four players against the denizens of hell – and each other – in a battle for points, rewards and fame. It will also boast leaderboards for competing with the global community.
“The armies of Hell brought pain and destruction to the realm of man, and only a select few have the fighting skills necessary to confront the devilish monstrosities,” the game’s description reads from the press release.
Hellraid vows to combine elements of hack-and-slash role-playing games, first-person shooters, and online multiplayer games. The title also sports a Game Master system that claims to make “each game a different experience” by placing loot and enemies in different places and generating random online challenges.
You’ll want to check out the newly launched official website for Hellraid for details.
