Angry Bird: Star Wars Flocks Onto A Console Near You
The Force is somewhat strong with this one. Activision and Rovio have confirmed Angry Birds Star Wars will debut on consoles this November.
The game will include 20 never-before-seen levels in addition to the 200 from the original game, new multiplayer modes including 2-player co-op, a 4-player competitive mode, leaderboards and upgraded HD visuals. It has been confirmed that the PS3 version will allow for the use of the PlayStation Move controller, while the Xbox 360 version will utilize the Kinect as a control option. No word on how the Wii U Gamepad will be incorporated, but chances are the touchscreen capabilities will be a control option to launch those furious birds.
Angry Birds Star Wars will launch on all current-gen consoles, including Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo 3DS, Wii and Wii U on October 29th, and a global release on November 1st.
