Kalypso Media Digital and Enigma Software’s today announced that their action-platformer Alien Spidy is coming to XBLA on March 20th.

Alien Spidy tells the story of an alien spider who crash lands on earth while attempting to find his buddy Virgi as well as lost pieces of his spaceship. The game includes 69 levels, three settings and 350 collectible items and achievements.

“Alien Spidy is a new take on the classic side-scroller, but with all sorts of modern twists,” said Jonathan Hales, Managing Director, Kalypso Media Digital. “The game is filled with colorful characters, beautiful animations, and just the right balance of pick-up-and-play accessibility and ramps up the challenge in later levels, making it perfect for all types of gamers.”

The upcoming title will hit PlayStation Network soon after; however, a specific release date is yet to be announced. The XBLA version will be available for 800 MS Points ($10).
