Muramasa Rebirth Slices Its Way To North America In June

Muramasa Rebirth for the PlayStation Vita has a release date, and a collector’s edition available for pre-order.

Available on June 25th, the collector’s edition includes a face cover and Vita skin by Hori, a velvet drawstring pouch, and a framed lithograph of art by designer George Kamitani.

Amazon lists the collector’s edition version of Muramasa Rebirth at $59.99, a $20 increase over the standard edition of the game. Vita owners who pre-order the game through GameStop or Amazon will receive an “abridged” soundtrack consisting of five songs from composer Hitoshi Sakimoto.

Muramasa originally released for the Wii in 2009 as Muramasa: The Demon Blade, it was “a highly stylized action adventure starring a colorful cast of more than 100 characters”. Known for its gorgeous sprites, it hails from Vanillaware, the team behind Dragon’s Crown and Odin’s Sphere.
