Dragon’s Crown Arrives on PS3 and Vita in August

Publisher Atlus has announced that Vanillaware’s side-scrolling hack n’ slash game Dragon’s Crown will launch for the PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 3 on Tuesday, August 6th.

Originally announced at E3 2011, Dragon’s Crown features four-person co-op play, six character classes (with some well endowed female characters), and skills that can be leveled up. Similar to Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, players will be able to transfer their save data from the console version to the handheld, but unfortunately players won’t be able to play with others on a different platform.

The PS3 version of Dragon’s Crown is priced at $49.99 and the Vita version at $39.99. It doesn’t appear to be part of Sony’s Cross-Buy program, so you’ll have to purchase each version separately.
