Relive The 90s With Terrian Saga: KR-17
Digital Tribe Games and Wonderfling Studios hope to rekindle our love of 16-bit platforming with Terrian Saga: KR-17.
KR-17 is the first of four multi-genre chapters of the Terrian Saga and stars a misfit military drone Taking place across 60 levels spread over 9 themed zones, you’ll jump and use an assortment of upgradable weapons including a laser, grenades, and flamethrower against thousands of killer robots and 8 deadly bosses.
Helping you along the way is a sentient guided missile named J1M who can be used to take out hard to reach enemies, blast open new passages and explore the surrounding area. In a bid to keep gameplay staying fresh, KR-17 will offer “non-linear levels that encourage exploration, along with high intensity action platforming sequences.”
Terrian Saga: KR-17 will be available for Windows PC and Mac sometime this month.
If you’d like a closer look at the game, check out the developer’s Twitch stream on Wednesday May 7th from 4PM-5PM PST.
