Today, Nintendo announced that they will remake the much beloved GameCube classic The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker for the Wii U. Nintendo will be updating the graphics into HD, but they’ll also make it playable on the Wii U GamePad, add Miiverse compatibility and tweak some gameplay mechanics.

Nintendo chief Satoru Iwata said, while another all-new Wii U Zelda game is also in the works. That one, however, “may take some time”.
