Jak and Daxter Trilogy Heads onto the PS Vita

by on April 19, 2013

After much speculation, Sony has officially announced that the Jak and Daxter Trilogy will release on PlayStation Vita in June 2013 for $29.99.

Similar to PlayStation 3 version, the Vita collection includes Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak 2 and Jak 3.

The Vita version will include new touch-based mini-games and its own trophy list separate to the PS3 version, associate producer Victor Harris wrote on the PlayStation Blog.

No word on if this trilogy will utilize the cross-save/cross-play functionality, but hopefully this release means that Sony is ready to reinvest into the beloved franchise with a fourth entry on the PlayStation 4.

Fingers crossed!
