Namco Bandai’s Project X Zone Heading to the States

According to Namco Bandai’s website, Project X Zone will be released in North America on June 25th.

For the uninitiated, Project X Zone is a crossover RPG featuring characters from Namco Bandai, Capcom and Sega. Released in Japan last October,the game features more than 200 different characters from franchises such as Street Fighter, Devil May Cry, Resident Evil and more.

According to Namco’s site, the game revolves around a stolen ancient treasure known as the Portalstone, which has been stolen and caused a time-space rift that allows for the crossovers. “The ambitions of various people, organizations and creatures have become intertwined, turning this incident into a great source of turmoil,” Namco describes. “The past, future, and even distant worlds from other dimensions have been drawn into what will be become a long journey for our heroes.”

Project X Zone is co-developed by Monolith Soft and Banprestois and is currently available for pre-order for $39.99 through Amazon and GameStop.
